What happens when I book my session?

Shortly after you secure your session, I will schedule a phone call with you to learn more about you, your vision for our photoshoot and answer any questions you may have. At this time, I will also help with wardrobe and styling for you and your family. I am always available by email for any last minute questions and wardrobe advice.  

Where and when will our session take place?

I have scouted some gorgeously picturesque locations in and around Marin County. Your outdoor session will be held during sunset, to take advantage of the gorgeous golden hour light; so timing is dependent on the season. You will be able to choose your preference of scenery; hills, beach or redwoods for your photoshoot. I want to capture each family’s connection and personality, so choose a location where you feel you are most at ease. 

What should I expect during our photoshoot?

Your job is to relax and enjoy the moment with one another. While some of the time, I will be documenting your life from afar, there will also be times that I will lightly encourage your family to pose or play!

What is lifestyle photography?

Lifestyle photography is a blend of documentary photography and portraiture. I will snap those candid moments but also take more traditional "holiday card" family portraits.

How many photos do you deliver in each gallery?

I take a lot of photos and choose the very best ones from your session to professionally edit. You will have the choice between a gallery of photos to select your favorites. Depending on the package you purchase, you will be able to download the number of images your package includes as high-resolution digitals. You also have the option to upgrade your gallery if you so desire. Upgrading your package is optional and can be decided after you view your gallery. 

When will I receive my photos?

You will receive your edited photos within 3 weeks from the date of your session. A link to your private online gallery will be emailed to you, where you will have access to download your hand edited digital images.
