Meet your Photographer…
I’m Sophie, your Marin County Lifestyle Photographer. My passion for photography began before the days of digital cameras and phones when developing film in the dark room was a labor of love. After becoming a mother, I began to measure time by my children’s milestones. Too often, life became so busy that those beautiful moments weren’t documented and they soon were forgotten. I would say to myself, “Next time, I’ll get a photo of that!” “I will start on that baby album tomorrow night.” Needless to say, that baby album is still collecting dust, 9 years later.
My goal as your photographer is to capture this time in your family’s journey together. We blink and our kids are grown… the photos I capture will give you a chance to re-live these fleeting moments when they seem like a distant memory.
I know how photo sessions can be stressful; I’ve been there too! Life is busy, coordinating outfits is time consuming, getting the kids to look at the camera is an art form in itself … I can help. I have lots of patience and practice with children, some little people call me ‘mommy’ too!
